Elizabeth Kowalski plays flute, piano, sings and conducts orchestras in and around Charlotte, NC. She also directs special events inside and outside the concerto hall where she designs innovative experiences in music and business.

Elizabeth is also the Founder and Executive Artistic Director for Charlotte New Music and the international Charlotte New Music Festival, held annually each summer. The festival is also home to the Max/MSP Workshop (interactive computer music and electronics), a Composers Workshop, and the Dance Co-Lab.
