When They See Red on Your Website

That text in red. on your wedsite's "Upcoming Performances" page

Event 1: cancelled

Event 2: postponed

Event 3: rescheduled

It’s a reminder of the sad and troubling times in which we live. At this point though, is it still necessary to mention it in that way?

On some websites I’ve seen the Performances page is completely blank except for the UPCOMING CONCERTS header.

Instead, what if they saw something like this at the top of the page, under the header:

Like most performers and ensembles across the country, our concerts have been postponed or cancelled. We expect many of these performances will be rescheduled, and we will be happy to let you know as soon as the new dates are set.

Check back here, or join our friends list, and you will be the first to know. www.friendsofthelinkensemble.com

The 2018 – 2019 season was memorable for us with 100 concerts in venues like Merkin Hall in New York, Royce Hall in Los Angeles and the Benedum Center in Pittsburgh.

The other highlights for us were our nine residencies at colleges and universities throughout the country. We worked over 500 hundred college and high school music students, and brought the power and joy of classical music to new audiences in nontraditional concert settings. Highlight pictures from these residencies can be found on our website: www.linkensemble.com. (click on Residencies)

We look forward to the day when we can play for you, in person, in the near future.

In the meantime, please join us for our weekly “Concerts from Home” series on our website. www.linkensemble.com

Please stay safe and healthy.

With best wishes,

the Link Ensemble – Jennifer, Tom, Beverly, Chris, Sherry and Alan
