Now That's a Bio.

Now, here’s a bio that drew me in, got me interested and made me feel good.

Caroline Shaw loves the color yellow, otters, Beethoven Opus 74, Mozart Opera, Kinhaven (a high school for the performing arts), the smell of rosemary, and the sound of a janky mandolin.

I hope to interview her soon.  Her music is lovely, and it’s regularly performed by important musicians and ensembles.  I would get to her music eventually, but I might get there after I asked her about the “jank,” the yellow. And the otters.

I think it’s a good idea to have three artist bios – the short and long, and maybe an unusual and nontraditional bio that you can use depending on the situation. Then, you can also incorporate the short or nontraditional bio into your press release.
